“The Cricket Week will continue to serve the ages-old purpose: give youngsters a platform to showcase their mettle. This year’s edition comes at a time when our National men’s team is just from representing the country at the T20 World Cup Tournament and when the U19 team has also had a very good year on the international scene. There has never been an opportunity for the youngsters to announce their availability than this year’s school cricket week. The fans too should brace for some good cricket. Jinja is ready for both the talents and the fans. Isaac Imaka - Founder East Enders”.
Jinja SS is the defending champion of the annual tournament, they will face tough competition from 19-time winners Busoga College Mwiri and two-time finalists Nyakasura School. Horizon International School and Shree Sahajanand School Uganda will be making a maiden appearance at the tournament.
