Weekend of April 26–27, 2025
THE LEAGUE RETURN PRELUDE!

Expect fire from the willow, drama with the ball, and big players returning to their sides ready to make immediate impact.
SATURDAY – APRIL 26, 2025
DIVISION TWO FIXTURES
Soroti City CC vs Budo CC – Entebbe Cricket Oval, 10am
Originally slated for Lugogo but now set for Entebbe, this Group A table-topper clash promises fireworks. ⚡ Both teams are unbeaten, with Soroti edging the standings on Net Run Rate (NRR) after dominant wins in their openers. These sides last met in the February T20s, where Soroti clean swept Budo at the latter's backyard.
The return of U19 stars - Ali Balidawa and Robert Owili (Budo), plus Peter Ochen (Soroti) - adds a fresh layer of spice to this showdown. ?
Jinja SS vs Nile CC – Jinja SS Cricket Oval, 10am
Desperation meets opportunity. Both sides are winless and need points to stay alive in Group A.
Jinja SS are coming off a loss to Soroti, while Nile’s only point came from a rained-off tie.
A high-stakes affair between fourth and fifth place teams — it’s a must-win or bust!
SUNDAY – APRIL 27, 2025
DIVISION TWO FIXTURES
Premier CC vs Aziz Damani Ismaili CC – Florida Oval, 10am
Both teams are hurting after defeats to GM Sugar and hungry for redemption. Premier suffered a 74-run loss, while Ismaili fell by 4 wickets.
With both sides still pointless in Group B, this match is shaping up to be a scrap for survival. Expect tight lines, pressure moments, and big decision-making showdowns.
Mukono Development vs Mukono Warriors – GM Sugar Oval, 10am
It’s Derby Day in Mukono!
Neighbours, training partners, and now fierce competitors — this is the kind of match that defines a season. Mukono Development sit second in Group B after a walkover win and a shared point with St. John’s. Warriors, currently fourth, want to shake things up with a statement win.
Bragging rights, form, and fire — this one has it all.
DIVISION ONE FIXTURES
Kutchi Tigers vs Tornado Bees – Lugogo Oval
POSTPONED – The marquee match is on hold due to pitch unavailability. Stay tuned for a rescheduled date.
Avengers CC vs Rounders CC – Entebbe Cricket Oval, 10am
Both teams are still hunting for their first win of the season.
Avengers will rue missed chances in their close loss to Kutchi Tigers and a washed-out opener.
Rounders are rock bottom after heavy defeats to JACC and Aboojo but will be lifted by the return of talisman Brian Mark Masaba – a former Cricket Cranes captain.
These two last met in last year’s Division Two semifinal — Avengers won convincingly.
Can Rounders avenge that defeat or will Avengers strike again?
Wanderers CC vs JACC – Jinja SS Oval, 10am
Wanderers need a bounce-back after a washout and a 9-wicket drubbing by Tornado Bees.
JACC, riding the rollercoaster, will want consistency after a 44-run win over Rounders and a stumble against Ceylon Lions – lost by 38 runs. Both mid-table and loaded with experienced heads — it’s poised to be a cracker.
Aboojo CC vs Ceylon Lions – Serenity Oval, Kamengo, 10am
Top-of-the-table treat!
Aboojo are unbeaten and flying after dominant wins. Ceylon Lions also boast form, having taken down Jinja Association of Cricket Clubs (JACC) in style.
With bragging rights and leadership of the Division One table at stake, this is Sunday’s big-ticket battle.
Expect nothing less than a thriller!
