In Jinja oval  the much anticipated battle between the Div 2 giants failed to live up to the hype as Tornado stream rolled Patidar. The winner of this contest would hold onto top spot giving them an advantage as the run in for promotion to the top flight continues.

However, Tornado started it off with a little uncertainty as only 10 men showed up giving Patidar a numerical advantage but the 10 men of tornado fought their hearts out and ensured they leave Jinja with all points.

Patidar won the toss and sent in 10 man tornado to bat. Allan and Sharma Mukwaya opened the batting for tornado but found it hard to score against left arm bowler Prakash Shah and they were dismissed shortly.
On form Brian Adriko didnt bother the scorers as he was dismissed for zero and this had Patidar with their tails up with Tornado reeling at 70 for 6. The introduction of all rounder Cosmas Kyewuta whose winning mindset inspired his side Tornado to victory on a very tricky day for them. Cosmas (106) scored a run a ball century and he got back up from the tail Ashraf Senkubuge (29), Maxwell Torach (23) and Trevor bukenya (32) who made significant contributions.

With a target of 270 needed for the win Patidar was pegged back early by the pace of Cosmans Kyewuta who dismissed the opening batsman in the first over.Trevor Bukenya's aggression didnt go down well with Mandeep Singh leading to a confrontation that halted play for a moment.

This incident turned out to be the turning point of the game as players got so emotional with Mandeep Singh losing his head and throwing away his wicket. Mukhtar Ahmed (21 off 31)and Farid Dinani (23 off 41)tried to stabilise the innings for Patidar but the cause was already lost with the 10 men of Tornado walking leaving Jinja the happier side.
