Match Summary  (Match Tied)

ADDT 137/10 in 33.5 overs. Fahad Mutagana 61(68).Edwin Nuwagaba 15(41)

The much anticipated Div 3 derby between the unbeaten Aziz Damani Development Team and Jinja SS ended prematurely by heavy rain poured just after the end of the first batting innings after the junior Damani boys had set a respectable 137.

Even when the rain stopped there wasnt enough time to allow the pitch to dry and then let Jinja SSS atleast get in 20 overs to get a result using the D/L method.

Despite such an unfortunate occurrence, the spectators weren't denied some entertainment during the first innings. Damani opening batsman Fahad Mutagana scored a tactical half ton and gave his team some joy as he played some mature strokes against the Jinja SSS pace bowlers.

Amazingly it's only two batsmen managed to score double figures Fahad Mutagana (61) and Edwin Nuwagaba (15) as the rest of the team struggled to make any inroads.

Hassan Mpanuka 4/36 and Pius Oloka 3/12 were brilliant with the ball and picked wickets for Jinja SSS as they managed to restrict Damani batsmen as they cleaned up the tail for in no time.

Despite the no result Damani remain unbeaten and at the top of the Div3 table and are most likely to finish the season at the top just like their seniors in Div 1 and thereby gaining promotion to Div 2.
