Kutchi Tigers ended their 2018 season on a high after they dealt with Strikers in a commanding fashion with a 102 runs win in Kyambogo. Kutchi were guaranteed of finishing in second despite the out come of the result but wanted to finish on a winning note.

Kutchi Tigers won the toss and came out guns blazing especially opening batsman Nanji Phindoria (67) who raced to a half century inside nine overs but it was Rakesh Kahra (107) who anchored the innings for Kutchi Tigers with his imaginative stoke play that ensured the Tigers posted a commanding 282 all out.

In the chase Strikers with nothing to lose came out guns blazing with Zephaniah Arinaitwe (50) taking the game to Kutchi tigers and even with the board ticking the wickets kept tumbling. Dhansuk Jesani (6/23) picked the first hatrick of the season as he put an end to any plans of a Strikers come back with Rogers Olipa (67) the only other batsman with a double score.

Kutchi Tigers finish in second place an improvement from their third place finish of last season, they have been clearly the second best team in the league and only the might of Aziz Damani kept them from going all the way.

Strikers will finish in 5th place in their first season in the top flight and the young side can be proud of their performances this season especially in the first round when they defeated some giant teams.
