Aziz Damani CC vs Strikers CC

9:30am

This weekend, Aziz Damani play hosts at the Lugogo cricket oval in this next leg of the T20 Cup. The One day league champions, conceded a loss in their first gamedue to fielding an ineligible player in their  fixture against the Avengers, awarding the latter their first win since the tournament's commencement. Damani gets another shot at turning the tides in their favor with the convinient two matches.

Aziz Damani faces the toughest competitors in their category beginning with Strikers CC, who currently top the group B league with 10 points, and are second overall, after K.I.C.C. The Strikers have had won two matches in as many games and will be just the introduction Damani needs to the T20 format. Their wins by 5 and 6 wickets against Kutchi Tigers and ADDT respectively having gotten them their best position yet.

The batting trio of Zephaniah Katungyi, Perry Wazombe have delivered especially with the bat, quickly garnering the much needed runs while skipper Frank Akwankwasa's 7 wicket haul in their last games. And will be the players to look out for in this particular fixture.

Aziz Damani CC vs Kutchi Tigers CC

3:00pm

The Kutchi Tigers will face Aziz Damani next in an afternoon game that is sure to be the most exciting yet. The Tigers closely trail the Strikers, with the same 10 points, in three games and sailed smoothly over the Avengers and Africa CC, chasing paltry scores of 82 runs and 45 runs within 10 and 5 overs respectively. Their only hurdle being the Strikers who chased their 125 runs, to win with 5 wickets to spare.

Ankit Patel and Nanji Pindoria are the batsmen Damani will need to look out for, in addition to Dhansuk Jesani and Dinesh Nakrani who've been the Tiger' lead wicket takers with 7 and 4 wickets respectively in three games.

Aziz Damani will need to avoid any more mishaps like last weekend if they hope to rise up the log in the volatile T20 format. Facing two of the most performing teams in the league so far, their fate after the two games will either shake the standings or remain the same but with both conceding a loss so far, an action packed match should be expected.

Both sides will be missing key players Kutchi Tigers will be without Dinesh Nakrani and Ronak Patel while Damani will be missing most of its team with Brian Masaba, Kenneth Waiswa, Riazat Shah, Bilal Hassun, Charles Waiswa, Henry Ssenyondo and Steve Tikolo all missing because of national duty.
