After a two week long break, the Challengers will be back in action at the Lugogo Cricket oval for two matches that could either cement their position in the top tier or not.

Challengers CC vs Premier CC

9:30 am

The Challengers will face Premier CC for their first game. Premier comes into the fixture fresh off a victorious weekend where they won both their games at the riverside oval in Jinja. They faced both JACC and Jinja SSS to win the games by 38 runs and 39 runs respectively.

All rounders Rajesh Nair and Krunal Prajapathi have consistently delivered for the Premier side. The latter in particular made a splendid  five wicket haul against Jinja SSS.   Himanshu Rishi and Naushat Rajwan have ably supported with the bat and ball respectively and will be required to up their game this weekend when they face an unbeaten Challengers side.

The hosts on the other hands will not be taking things lightlly in their quest for the cup. At number three, they will use every available opportunity to leap to second place, with KICC secure at number one so far.

Challengers CC vs Wanderers CC

3:00 pm

After last weekend's loss to league heads KICC by 54 runs at the same venue last week, the Wanderers who are yet to win a game, will have a chance to redeem themselves in their fixture against the Challengers.

It will be upto captain Denis Musali, to rally his troops against a tough side who are yet to lose a game. Adonia Waibale and Abu Seguya helped the team to 121/8 score last weekend, while Tembo Zubair, Tusiime Peter and Micheal Nuwagaba helped bring down six KICC wickets before innings' end.

The absence of their skipper Hamu Kayondo on national duty in Oman, has no less hindered the Challengers' efforts with Mohammed Aneef, Naseer Ahmed providing the runs needed. Sadam Oyaga and Hamza Ali will be the bowlers that Wanderers CC will need to look out for as well. They have all going well so far and will be determined to get an edge with a win in both games.
