With a lot of energy and walk over furry on their mind, Challengers looked at making a statement to the opponents. One that had to make it clear that they didn’t chicken out of the morning fixture.

Top order took on the bowlers from the word go, denying them a chance to settle. This saw the Challengers set a good 148 in the allotted 20 overs. Hamu Kayondo (47) and Steven Wabwose (25) led their team with the bat despite the bowling efforts from Hardik Pandya 3/17 in 4 overs.

Patidar came to chase down the score with a required runrate of 7.5 an over. It was only Muhtar A (42) who made an effort but ran out of partners as he was the soul witness on the crease. This was from the tremendous efforts of Aneef Muhammad 3/15 in 4 overs and David Wabwire 2/13 in 4 overs.

The win saw Patidar crush out of the tournament and Challengers qualify for knock out stage in the number two spot.
