Jinja SS grace this fixture seeking their first win of the season having being denied by KICC just days ago at the same venue. With each team playing each other once, all games are played like a final.
Every team in top flight is a title contender. It isn’t all rosy for Jinja SS but as the table stands, Pioneer have the upper hand seeing as they are unbeaten in two out of two. Most of their players from Jinja SS are under pressure on and off the field as some of them are candidates waiting to sit their final exams.
Both sides will deploy heavily in the batting line ups as the majority of coaches always preach that runs win games. Jinja SS need to come with a clear bowling strategy to beat the Pioneer Opening Pair of Barbara Mukankusi and Leona Babirye who have taken the league by storm.
Jinja SS are a good bowling side that bowls deep. Great spells from Claire Mushakamba, Stephanie Nampiina and Ritah Musamali shall come in handy for them. Ritah Musamali who top scored for Jinja SS with 78 last weekend will look to continue her scintillating form and take the game to Pioneer.
Barbara Mukankusi, the Pioneer skipper has a big task of shuffling her bowlers throughout the game to contend with the batting prowess of the Jinja side. She is to work around Brenda Nabisaalu and Lynette Nakato. Her arsenal has a lot of ammunitions in the bowling task.
