The lady cricket trio of Immaculate Nakisuyi, Ritah Musamali and Stephanie Nampiina face off this weekend as they seek victory for their clubs. The duo of Ritah Musamali and Stephanie Nampiina shall be anxiously looking to help Jinja SS get off the winning mark this weekend. They have done all in their might to win but the opponents have been in better form.
The timing of the league has not helped the defending champions Jinja SSS who heavily rely on students as core of their team with majority of the students concentrating on their final exams therefore having little or no time to practise as a team. Rita Musamali, Stephanie Nampiina and Claire Mukashamba the senior players are all in the final year of their high school studies and they have only once more chance to salvage some pride for their school team.
Aziz Damani despite having national team players, it has young players its grooming in the side but will be relying on their senior players Getrude Candiru and Immaculate Nakisuyi to spur them on. Teddy Ayela has been the find of the season for Damani this season and together with Julia Karungi and Maria Kagoya Damani should be able to collect all match points.
Coach Habib Mugalula of Jinja SSS is a mentor for Aziz Damani coach Yusuf Nanga and it will be a case of the junior getting one over his mentor. The game will be played in Lugogo which makes it a tricky venue in this rainy season.
