Weekend Preview:

Challengers went down to Ceylon Lions last weekend by 25 runs hurting their chances of winning their 1st 50 over league title, they come up against SKLPS this weekend and need to get something quickly in the Win column.

SKLPS lost to Wanderers by 5 wickets on the opening weekend of the season and for them, they are fighting for their place in the top flight. Challengers are loaded with a lot of talent with Frank Akankwasa, Arnold Otwani, Richard Agamire the trio from the national team to add to the likes of Wasim Butt, Emmanuel Hasakya, Perry Wazombe, and Zephaniah Arinaitwe. They should be favorites to take the day if everything goes for them.

Nyakasura was put to the sword by Aziz Damani Development last weekend, indifferent in performance scoring 300 runs in their opening game but folded for only 85 in their second game against Aziz Damani Development. Pascal Murungi and his side face school side Jinja SSS and they should have enough to get past the students. Ivan Thawithemwira scored a century on the opening day of the season and he should be the go-to man for runs for Nyakasura. Pascal Murungi is yet to light up the league given his exploits in the World Cup but he is a valuable man.

Aziz Damani Development will take on Premier Cricket Club, Aziz Damani was too strong for Nyakasura last weekend but will face a stun test against Premier this weekend. The World Cup boys in Aziz Damani Yunusi Sowobi, Fahad Mutagana, Ronald Lutaaya will be required to be at their best if they are to pick up their second win of the season.
