The Association is aware that the performance can only be improved with regular and structured training programmes, combined with matches against superior opposition. To this effect, in addition to building up foreign tours before any major competition, Council proposes to run an annual tournament in Uganda where Kenya , South Africa Development team and Zimbabwe Development team will be invited to participate in what will be referred to as the Uganda Cup.

Over the next five years, the national team will be engaged in several activities and plans for development shall be centred on this calendar.
