Wanderers vs Tornado Bees – Entebbe Cricket Oval (Morning Game)
Tornado Bees CC started the day strong under the golden morning sun, with Roger Mukasa’s explosive 45 setting the tone and Hamid Munigwa’s steady 52* guiding them to a competitive 160/5.

Wanderers CC faltered early, losing 3 quick wickets and managing just 22 before Raheel Sarwal’s gritty 40 tried to steady the chase. Aziz Abdul Tandia (2/25) and John Mpande kept the pressure on, and Wanderers were restricted to 137/6.

Tornado Bees sealed a 23-run victory, asserting their dominance when it mattered most.

Wanderers fought back fiercely in the afternoon, with Wasim Butt’s composed 43 and Joseph Byaruhanga’s unbeaten 32 guiding their team to 149/8.

Tornado Bees, buoyed by their morning win, stumbled under pressure. Suleman Sharif (3/20) and Geofrey Kakaire (4/11) wreaked havoc, bowling Tornado Bees out for 92 in 17.4 overs. Wanderers’ 57-run victory was a statement of resilience as defending champions and proved the Bees’ sting wouldn’t last long.

In overcast, drizzle-hit conditions, Tornado CC produced a clinical performance.

Posting 114/6 in 18 overs, Sharma Uzama Mukaya’s calm 34* and 20 extras set a solid base. Jinja SS CC’s chase collapsed under a relentless bowling assault, with Trevor Arikiriza, Ryan Tendo, and Lawrence Ssempijja sharing the wickets. Jinja folded for 66 in 15.3 overs, handing Tornado a commanding 48-run win in a match defined by discipline and sharp fielding.

Tornado CC kept the pressure high in the shortened 13-over clash. Conrad Lubwama’s fluent 53* and Simon Oketcho’s quickfire 20 propelled them to 107/2.

Jinja SS CC’s response was hampered by early wickets and three crucial run-outs, with Moses Kitara’s double strike pivotal.

Despite Kenneth Isiiko’s 33*, Jinja SS managed just 59 runs. Tornado CC completed a perfect double with another 48-run victory.

Kutchi Tigers vs Ceylon Lions – Serenity Oval Kamengo (Morning Game)
Kutchi Tigers CC roared to a dominant win over Ceylon Lions, who struggled to 108 all out, with only Hamu Kayondo (27) and Ruwan Jayaratne (32) offering resistance.

Kush Vekariya’s incisive 3/7 spearheaded Kutchi’s bowling. In response, Nitin Jeshani smashed a brutal 41 off 16 balls, while Avnish Vekariya’s unbeaten 36 anchored the chase, completing an emphatic 8-wicket victory in just 9.4 overs.

In a thrilling afternoon clash, Kutchi Tigers edged out Ceylon Lions by 5 runs. Mitul Pindoriya’s explosive 48 and Avnish Vekariya’s rapid 42 powered Kutchi to 174/8.

The Lions fought back, led by Ronald Omara’s unbeaten 50 and Abong Colline’s 39, but tight death bowling and three run-outs sealed the Tigers’ nerve-filled victory, completing a perfect day for Kutchi.

 

Avengers vs Ismaili Community – Entebbe Cricket Oval (Morning Game)
Avengers CC dominated with a comprehensive 118-run win. Christopher Kidega’s unbeaten 67 led the charge in a 169/3 total, supported by Abraiz Mir (29) and Athar Ali (22*).

Avengers’ bowlers then dismantled Ismaili, bundling them out for 51 in 14.4 overs.

Nasta Girish (3/20), David Wabwire (3/21), and Yashashvi Joshi (2/3) combined to choke the chase, with only Junaid Khan (19) offering resistance.

Ismaili Community CC bounced back in a thrilling 2-run win, posting 152/9 thanks to Ali Dishan’s brisk 34 and late cameos.

Ghulam Hunzai’s 3 wickets and tight spells from Mujeeb Sultan and Sunal Shuahib kept Avengers in check.

Despite Christopher Kidega’s steady 36 and Oloka Pius’ 34, Avengers fell agonizingly short at 150 all out on the final ball. Ismaili’s spirited comeback earned a split of the day’s double-header honors.

 

GM Sugar vs SKLPS – GM Sugar Oval (Morning Game)
GM Sugar claimed a stunning 40-run win in a low-scoring thriller

Pramit Patel’s gritty 53 helped post 102/8, while Vinitkumar Patel’s sensational five-wicket haul, including a hat-trick, dismantled SKLPS for 62 in 13.3 overs.

Dharmin Patel’s three wickets added to the bowling dominance, securing a memorable win defending a small total.

GM Sugar continued their form with a solid 150/5, powered by Pramit Harishbhai Patel’s commanding 65 and Hetalkumar Chhotubhai Patel’s quick 34.

SKLPS fought hard, with Ritesh Gaypanga’s 42 shining, but Dharmin Ganpatbhai Patel’s 4/24 and Vinitkumar Chhaganbhai Patel’s economical bowling kept them at bay.

SKLPS were bowled out for 119, handing GM Sugar a 31-run victory and extending their winning streak.

 

Africa Cricket Club vs Patidar – Florida Oval (Morning Game)
Patidar CC ended their winless run with a dominant 72-run victory over Africa CC.

Patidar posted 122/4, anchored by Shah Yasser Khan’s steady 18 and late hitting from Darshan Patel and Rohan Singh.

Africa CC faltered badly, bowled out for 50, as Het Pindoriya’s crucial 3 wickets and supporting breakthroughs strangled their chase.

Extras again hurt Africa’s cause, conceding 20 runs.

Africa Cricket Club vs Patidar – Florida Oval (Afternoon Game)
In a tighter afternoon contest, Africa CC posted 112/8, crossing the 100-run mark for the first time recently.

Patidar’s disciplined bowling, led by Het Pindoriya, kept the pressure high.

Patidar’s chase was paced well by Het Pindoriya’s 39 off 24 balls, with the team sealing victory by 3 wickets in 15.5 overs. Africa CC’s lack of an extra spinner showed as Patidar handled spin well, highlighting an area for improvement. With tougher fixtures ahead, Africa CC will need to regroup fast.

Day Two of the Uganda T20 League was a thrilling mix of dominance and resilience.

Kutchi Tigers made a statement with a perfect double over Ceylon Lions, while Tornado CC’s clinical displays put Jinja SS under pressure.

Wanderers showed heart, bouncing back after a morning defeat, and Ismaili Community CC responded to a heavy loss with a spirited comeback against Avengers. GM Sugar’s all-round strength was on full display with back-to-back wins.Meanwhile, Africa CC’s struggles continued, now without a win in four, underscoring the challenges ahead. The league’s intensity is building, promising more high-stakes drama as the competition progresses.
