The loosing streak is still on for KC Budo, with yet another loss to a resilient SKLPS side. Budo won the toss and asked the visitors to bat 1st a decision they would regret as SKLPS managed to score 299 in 49 over for 9 wickets.
The early dismissal of the openers didnt stop the carnage, Meghji Kara took charge of the batting scoring a brilliant 83 off 47 balls. Dipak Limbani 47, Mansuk Gorasiya 20 and Hitesh hilai 20 all added vital knocks as SKLPS posted a commanding 299 for 9.
There were some rewards for Patrick Oburu 2/30 and Ahmed Taha 4/54 with the ball but they it was not enough to stop the SKLPS from posting a big total.
The KC Buddo top order failed to boot as they were all dismissed for scores below 5 runs, the middle order did try to hold on led by Joel Siminyu (17), Ahmed Taha (33) and Gerald Orumo (30) but it was not enough to secure them a win.
Meghji Kara put in an all rounder performance finishing with bowling figures of 4/38 to go with 84 runs with the bat earning himself the man on match award
The win keeps SKLPS in third place on the table with a game in hand a meagre 6 points behind second placed Patidar, a win in their game in hand will mean they have a chance of fighting for the last promotion place.
